Research Associate II, In Vivo Research OperationsW2 Contract-to-HireSalary Range: $79,000 - $89,500 per yearLocation: Redwood City, CA - Onsite RoleDuties and Responsibilities:Plan, conduct, analyze, and report in vivo studies (efficacy, PK/PD).Carry out pre-clinical model development and characterization.Conduct standard vivarium operations.Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and perform accurate and timely record-keeping and data analysis.Learn and conduct other in vivo-related techniques.Interface with cross-functional project team members and participate in and present at project and cross-departmental team meetings.Formulate and administer drugs and experimental compounds by various routes.Requirements and Qualifications:BS or MS in Biology or Pharmacology related discipline (3-5 years of experience)Proficiency with various mouse handling techniques, including dosing (IV, PO, subcutaneous, IP), tumor inoculation/measurements, in-life and terminal blood collection, survival surgeries, and handling of tissues during necropsy and processing for ex vivo analysisComputer literacy, especially GraphPad Prism, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word proficiencyExcellent organizational and communication skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environmentAble to work independently on day-to-day responsibilities and research goals.Experience with in vivo imaging and Studylog is preferred.Research experience with mouse models of cancer and/or cancer immunotherapy is a plus.Bayside Solutions, Inc. is not able to sponsor any candidates at this time.
