Our elite global Law Firm client is seeking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to assist M&A partners in identifying new business opportunities and developing and executing strategic business development plans to increase M&A practice revenue globally.Responsibilities:Support practice development by identifying new business opportunities and developing and executing strategic business development plans to increase M&A practice revenue globallySupport partners with client prospecting and relationship management targeting investment bankers, investment banking in-house counsel, board of directors and investment banking senior managementManage, coach and mentor a business development analyst and business development coordinatorOversee knowledge management including but not limited to tracking and monitoring client activity and new legal matters in CRM systems and internal databases, overseeing directory and league table submissions and supporting overall knowledge management collectionPrepare RFPs, pitch materials and other client presentationsAnalyze industry trends, the competitive landscape and M&A transactionsWork closely with marketing communications colleagues to support public relations and media opportunities for partnersSupport the communications and digital marketing team with internal/external communications, practice visibility, events and social media strategy and executionRequirements:Bachelor's DegreeJD preferred5+ years of business development experience at a tier-1 global law firmComprehensive knowledge of the M&A transaction process and investment banking landscapeKnowledge of M&A litigation preferredDemonstrated senior management/partner level relationship management experienceAdvanced business writing, analytical and communication skillsProficient MS Office skillsAbility and willingness to work extended hours as requiredHybrid model: 4-days in office, 1-day remote - required
