The HR Manager will play a key role in managing and implementing human resource strategies, ensuring smooth operations in all HR functions, and fostering a positive workplace culture while supporting the organization's goals and objectives.Compensation will vary upon experience:Entry: $80,000 - $90,000Mid: $100,000 - $110,000Senior: $115,000 - $125,000 (flexible upon experience) Benefits:HealthDentalVisionSTD/LTD401(k)PTOHolidaysJob Description:Act as the primary point of contact for union-related matters, including contract negotiations, grievance handling, and ensuring compliance with union agreements.Support non-union labor relations strategies and employee relations programs, fostering a positive work environment.Collaborate with union leadership and management to resolve workplace issues and concerns in a timely manner.Lead employee engagement initiatives, ensuring both union and non-union employees feel valued and supported.Facilitate conflict resolution and assist with disciplinary actions, providing guidance on appropriate measures in accordance with company policies and union agreements.Oversee recruitment efforts for hourly and salaried positions, ensuring staffing needs are met in a timely manner.Work closely with department managers to identify hiring needs and develop job descriptions.Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring compliance with all legal and company requirements.Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as industry regulations.Monitor and enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring that both union and non-union employees are treated fairly and equitably.Administer benefits, payroll, and other HR programs in alignment with labor agreements and company standards.Identify training needs and support the development and implementation of training programs for both union and non-union employees.Provide guidance to managers and employees on company policies, career development, and workplace best practices.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and assist with implementing health and safety programs to reduce workplace hazards and incidents.Partner with management to address safety concerns and ensure a safe working environment.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).5+ years of experience in HR Management within a manufacturing environment (preferred)Strong background in both union and non-union environments.In-depth knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.Ability to balance the needs of both union and non-union workforces effectively.Proficient in HRIS, MS Office, and other HR software tools.
