Role OverviewJoin our Experience Design team as a Product Experience Designer focused on transforming healthcare provider workflows. In this role, you'll lead the design of digital solutions that address critical challenges facing modern medical practices. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive, efficient experiences that streamline administrative workflows, enhance clinical operations, and improve practice efficiency, ultimately enabling healthcare providers to focus on what matters most - delivering exceptional patient care.Primary Responsibilities Lead end-to-end design processes for provider-facing products, from research and conceptualization through detailed interaction design and implementation supportImmerse yourself in provider office environments to conduct contextual research, observational studies, and workflow analysis to identify pain points and opportunities for innovationCreate user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that transform complex healthcare workflows into intuitive digital experiencesPartner with product managers to translate provider office challenges into actionable product requirements and measurable success metricWork closely with engineering teams to ensure high-quality implementation of designs, providing detailed specifications and participating in technical discussionsDevelop and maintain design systems that promote consistency and efficiency across provider-facing products Create and validate design solutions through rapid prototyping and iterative testing in provider office settings Core Competencies Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on simplifying complex clinical and administrative workflowsStrength in user-centered design methods and design thinking principlesAbility to navigate and balance competing prioritiesStrong communication and presentation skillsCollaborative mindset with experience working in cross-functional teamsData-informed approach to design decisions and product development Deep empathy for healthcare providers Required Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in UX/UI design for complex digital products Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related fieldStrong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process and problem-solving in healthcare or other complex industryProficiency in modern design tools (Figma)Strong understanding of accessibility standards and best practices Experience with design systems and component-based design Preferred QualificationsExperience designing for healthcare providers or enterprise softwareDirect experience working in or consulting with medical practicesKnowledge of medical practice operations and workflow optimization Experience with Agile development processeFamiliarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) Experience with service design or systems thinking Advanced degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or related field This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on healthcare delivery by creating innovative solutions that transform how medical practices operate.
