1-2 day per week onsite in Boston required 3-4+ month contract assignment We are seeking an experienced Contract Compensation Consultant to support our annual merit and bonus cycles. In this role, you will partner with HR and business leaders to ensure a seamless and strategic compensation review process that aligns with company goals, market benchmarks, and internal equity considerations.Key Responsibilities:Annual Merit & Bonus Cycle Management:Support the planning, execution, and administration of the annual merit increase and bonus payout process.Develop and manage merit and incentive compensation spreadsheets, models, and reports.Ensure accurate data collection, validation, and analysis to support recommendations.Compensation Strategy & Analysis:Provide compensation benchmarking, modeling, and analysis to guide decision-making.Partner with HR and finance teams to develop data-driven compensation recommendations.Ensure alignment with market trends, internal equity, and pay transparency initiatives.Stakeholder Collaboration & Support:Advise HRBPs and business leaders on merit and bonus recommendations.Provide training and guidance to managers on compensation best practices.Respond to employee and leader inquiries related to compensation cycles.Process Improvement & Compliance:Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency in compensation cycle processes.Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and pay equity requirements.Support the development of compensation-related communications and guidelines.Qualifications: Experience: 7+ years in compensation, rewards, or related HR functions. Expertise: Strong understanding of merit cycles, bonus structures, and incentive programs. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, modeling), HRIS systems (Workday), and compensation tools (Radford, Mercer, etc.) Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret data, provide insights, and present recommendations. Strong Communication: Comfortable advising senior leaders and HRBPs on compensation topics.
