IP Trademark Associate - New YorkOur client is a major international firm, seeking an IP litigation associate with 3-6 years of experience for its Intellectual Property and Technology practice in New York. The salary for this position is between $260k to $420k.Qualifications3-6 years of IP experience with a substantial portion of the below requirements, as well as an interest in developing additional experience in other areas below [with training and mentorship available].Trademark, copyright, trade dress, rights of publicity, trade secret, false advertising, and unfair competition federal litigation.Drafting pleadings and esponding and arguing motions.Preparing expert reports and assisting with discoveryAssisting with settlement strategies, including mediation and other types of dispute resolutionConducting UDRP proceedings and TTAB litigation.Trademark clearance, filing strategy, prosecution and enforcement domestically and globally.Managing global trademark portfolios.Advising clients on copyright issues.Conducting advertising copy review, including addressing comparative advertising, unfair competition and NAD/BBB matters.Advising clients on rights of privacy and publicity issues.Strong academic credentials are required, as well as excellent writing and verbal communication skills and a willingness to work within a collaborative team environment.All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
