As a Parts, Garments, and Accessories Operations Intern, you will play a key role in developing and refining Operations processes within the PG&A department. Your primary focus will be on reducing dealer contacts through the implementation of efficient procedures and strategies. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in operations management and contribute to the overall success of our organization.Responsibilities:Process Development:Develop and optimize PG&A operation processes to improve efficiency and outputAssesses process capabilities, prioritizes process improvement opportunities, and innovates and implements process improvements on operations processes.Develop functional specifications, metrics and dashboards based on gathered requirements.Applies technical knowledge to innovate, design, and develop processes, procedures, and tool sets.Dealer Support Call Reduction:Analyze data sets to identify trends and patterns and work with business stakeholders to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutionsPerform root cause analysis, develop corrective actions, and drive implementation of improvement plans.Identify communication channels with dealers to provide proactive support.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including customer service, logistics, and sales, to ensure alignment and consistency in dealer support processes.Assist in the development of process documentation/training materials and resources for internal staff and dealers to promote self-service options and reduce reliance on direct support contacts.Develop and implement strategies to reduce the frequency of dealer contacts while maintaining high levels of support and satisfaction.Order Management and purchasing process documentation:Collaborate with the purchasing team to gain a comprehensive understanding of current procurement processes and systems.Research industry best practices and emerging trends in procurement and supply chain management to inform process improvement initiatives.Develop and document standardized procedures and guidelines for various aspects of the purchasing process, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and order fulfillment.Assist in the evaluation and selection of new suppliers, conducting research and analysis to assess their capabilities and suitability.Department Photo shoot / vehicle upfit:Assist in the setup and installation of PGA products on vehicles for photo / video shoots, ensuring accurate representation and proper installation of products.Document and analyze efficiency of process to provide feedback on future projects.Competencies:Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and identify opportunities for process improvement.Problem-Solving Skills: Capacity to identify challenges and develop creative solutions to address them.Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication both verbally and in writing.Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.Attention to Detail: Meticulous in ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.Initiative: Proactive and self-motivated, with a willingness to take ownership of projects and drive results.Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adjusting priorities as needed.Qualifications:Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program, preferably in business administration, operations management, or a related field.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.Prior coursework or experience in supply chain management, operations, or customer service is a plus.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Interest in power sports industry and experience with products a plusDuration and Compensation:This internship is a 13-16-week (3-month) positionCompensation range is $22 - $24 per hour
