Job Title - Senior Manager - Strategy & Analytics, Life Sciences/HealthcareLocation - Bay Area, California (Hybrid)SummaryThe Senior Manager, Data Strategy & Analytics will provide integral support to commercial Data initiatives for pharma clients. The consultant will contribute a combination of both technical and strategic capabilities to client/project-specific work. Consultant will also synthesize key insights from analysis to provide strategic recommendations and implications, as appropriate. The successful candidate will have experience in the biopharma and/or healthcare industry, a background in managing data strategy, data acquisition and processing, Data quality, and a demonstrated track record of generating impactful insights that help enable successful project outcomes and inform company strategies and activities.Responsibilities:Manage Business and Analytics stakeholders in the Pharmaceutical commercial teamsWork closely with technical data and analytics teams to drive insights and answer Business questionsExperience with pharma commercial data such IQVIA, SYMPHONY Sales, Claims, MMIT, Payer data etc.Extensive experience in Data Management, Data Lake/ warehouse, Data Quality and Business Intelligence supporting commercial teamsSynthesize and communicate results to clients and internal teams through oral and written presentations.Understand client business issues, operating business rules, data and standard operating proceduresIncorporate process changes in response to evolving business needsProvide client and internal teams project status updates.Create project deliverables and implement solutions.Advance problem-solving skills and build/elevate internal capabilities.Build individual and company knowledge related to new and emerging tools, technologies, and analytical methodsQualifications:Bachelor's or master's degree required in any discipline with strong record of academic success in quantitative and analytic coursework such as finance, applied mathematics, management science, data science, statistics, econometrics or engineering.5-10 years of relevant post-collegiate job experienceExperience managing Data Engineering and Business Intelligence projectsExperience in stakeholder management and Vendor ManagementExperience working with Analytics teams to drive Business analyticsHigh motivation, good work ethic, maturity and personal initiative.Strong oral and written communication skills.Empathy, adaptability and emotional intelligence.Close attention to detail, with a quality-focused mindset.Experience/exposure in cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) and Business Intelligence tools (Qlikview/Tableau)Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required. Proficiency with analytics tools (e.g., SAS, Tableau) preferred
