Job SummaryThe Corporate Construction Superintendent oversees construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards. This role requires managing construction teams, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and corporate policies.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management:Supervise and manage day-to-day construction activities at various project sites & Subcontractors.Oversee the implementation of project plans, schedules, and budgets.Coordinate and communicate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.Ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.Team Supervision and Leadership:Lead and mentor construction teams, including subcontractors and onsite workers.Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure quality standards are maintained.Provide performance feedback and recommendations for improvement.Quality Control and Safety Compliance:Ensure all construction activities adhere to safety regulations, codes, and company policies.Conduct site inspections to assess compliance with construction drawings and specifications.Identify and resolve safety hazards and construction issues promptly.Budget and Cost Management:Monitor project costs and work to minimize expenses while maintaining quality.Approve and manage procurement of construction materials and equipment.Track and report project expenditures and financial performance.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain detailed daily reports of site activities, progress, and incidents.Review and approve work orders, change orders, and other project documentation.Provide regular status updates to senior management and project stakeholders.Qualifications and SkillsBachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field preferred.Proven experience as a construction supervisor or similar role in corporate or commercial construction projects.Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, regulations, and best practices.Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.Proficiency in project management software and construction management tools.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Certification in OSHA safety standards or equivalent is a plus.
