Analyst

The Atlantic Group has partnered with a hedge fund in the NYC area. They have an immediate need for an Analyst with advanced PowerPoint skills to join their team. This position is a full-time contract role with the opportunity to become permanent based on performance.Summary: Urgent need for an Analyst. This person must be a strong Excel and PowerPoint user that can pull data from excel quickly and create decks in PowerPoint. V lookups, formulas, marcos is needed. Private Equity/Hedge Fund industry experience is ideal so they know the verbiage/culture. This role is all PowerPoint/data/ IR support work, not client facing.Work Schedule: This role will be 3 days in the office, 2 days work from home.Duties and Responsibilities: • Create, update, and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting. • Develop and refine PowerPoint presentations for internal and external stakeholders. • Develop custom PowerPoint templates that align with the company's branding and can be used for future presentations. • Develop and maintain documentation on PowerPoint usage and standards • Collaborate with team members to gather necessary information and ensure accuracy in all deliverables. • Assist with ad-hoc projects as required, providing timely and accurate results. Experience and Skills: • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field. • Preference for previous work in financial industry • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and complex formulas. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, with the ability to create professional and visually appealing presentations. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Note: Qualified candidates will be contacted within 3 business days of application.
