Position Overview:As a key member of our sales team, you will play an essential role in growing our customer base, driving sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys the challenge of engaging with prospects, cultivating strong relationships, and contributing to the overall success of the team.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Sales & ProspectingActively promote a broad range of products and services to potential and existing customers via phone and email, focusing on building long-term relationships.Lead Generation & Follow-upGenerate leads, manage follow-ups, and convert opportunities into sales through effective prospecting and qualification methods.Sales Target AchievementConsistently meet and exceed assigned daily sales targets and call volume goals, including a required daily outbound call volume of 20 calls. These calls will address key areas such as:Product RecommendationsUnderstanding customer needs and providing product recommendations that meet their technical and application requirements.Pricing and QuotesDiscussing product pricing, providing detailed and accurate quotes, and negotiating competitive terms as approved by inside sales management.Problem ResolutionAddressing customer concerns, troubleshooting issues, and offering solutions to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.Promotions & UpsellingPresenting promotional offers, upselling relevant products, and ensuring customers are aware of the full range of solutions available.Order UpdatesProviding customers with updates on order status, lead times, shipping, and delivery information.Follow-up on LeadsActively following up on previous leads or inquiries to maintain customer engagement and close sales.Customer FeedbackGathering feedback on product performance or service quality to ensure we are meeting customer expectations.Customer Service ExcellenceProvide outstanding customer service to both phone and internet customers by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.Problem ResolutionAddress and resolve product-related problems and customer complaints in a professional and timely manner, ensuring a positive experience and repeat business.Product Knowledge & AccuracyApply in-depth product knowledge to assist customers, provide accurate product recommendations, and ensure the correct processing of orders and quotes.Quote GenerationAccurately generate quotes for customers, ensuring attention to detail and competitive pricing.CRM and Data EntryUtilize CRM systems to track sales leads, customer interactions, and follow-up actions. Maintain accurate data and records to support sales efforts and customer relationships. This is a key expectation of the role! All customer interactions, whether written or verbal, must be logged into the CRM system.Attendance & PunctualityExcellent attendance is expected, including being on time at the start of each workday and promptly after lunch breaks. Consistent punctuality is critical to ensure smooth operations and the achievement of sales goals.CollaborationWork closely with other internal teams such as shipping, logistics, and marketing to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery to customers.Continuous ImprovementParticipate in ongoing training and development initiatives to stay current on product offerings, sales techniques, and industry trends.Skills and Qualifications:ExperienceA minimum of 2 years of inside sales experience, preferably in industrial equipment or similar fields. Previous experience in lead generation, prospecting, and sales pipeline management is highly desirable.CommunicationExceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical product information to a diverse customer base. Customer FocusStrong commitment to delivering excellent customer service, resolving issues promptly, and fostering positive customer relationships.Organizational SkillsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.Technical ProficiencyProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with CRM systems (RubberTree or similar). Experience with sales and inventory management software is a plus.Self-MotivatedStrong ability to work independently, set priorities, and meet deadlines. A proactive and positive attitude towards learning and personal growth is essential.Problem-SolvingAbility to think critically and solve problems quickly and efficiently, ensuring a seamless experience for both customers and the company.Team CollaborationA strong team player who enjoys working collaboratively with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve company goals.Education:High school diploma or equivalent required. A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.Additional Requirements:Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.This position is a full-time, office-based role.
