Ballard Global is seeking an experienced Vice President of Investor Relations to join our New York office. This role is dedicated to developing and managing relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and private investors. The ideal candidate will bring a network of private investors, a proven track record of raising capital, and a keen entrepreneurial prowess which they will employ to advance the growth of the firm.Ballard Global is a middle-market private equity firm specializing in direct lending, managing a diversified portfolio across North and South America. With a robust history of performance and innovation, Ballard Global provides tailored investment opportunities spanning consumer credit, real estate, agriculture, and a variety of service industries. ResponsibilitiesCultivate and grow relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and private investors, leveraging your existing investor network.Hire a pod and manage their efforts to facilitate the execution of quarterly & annual investment targets.Professionally articulate the firm's investment strategies, highlighting key differentiators and value propositions.Collaborate with senior leadership and internal teams to support investor engagement and deliver a seamless client experience.Oversee the investor onboarding process, ensuring smooth communication and coordination of due diligence materials.Manage client outreach and fundraising activities using CRM systems to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.Attend networking events, conferences, and investor meetings to expand relationships and identify new private investor opportunities.Qualifications5+ years of experience in investor relations, capital markets, or business development focused on HNWIs and private investors with a proven history of outperformance. Existing relationships with HNWIs and private investors are a key requirement; we are primarily targeting the mass-affluent demographic & emerging SFOs. Deep understanding of private equity, credit markets, and alternative investment strategies, with the ability to confidently present these to investors.Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with private investors and convert opportunities into commitments.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex investment strategies clearly and persuasively.Self-driven and results-oriented, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work on-site from the New York office and travel as needed to meet clients and attend events.Compensation and BenefitsBase salary range: $120,000 - $170,000On-Target Earnings (OTE): $250,000 - $300,000 (inclusive of performance-based bonuses)Base pay will be determined based on experience, skills, and other factorsIn addition, Ballard Global offers a competitive benefits package, including:Medical & dental insurancePaid time off and commuter benefitsRetirement planning with employer contributionProfessional development opportunitiesNo agencies, please.Ballard Global is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
