Clayton Services is searching for a Senior Structural Engineer to join a thriving company in Bellaire, Texas. The Senior Structural Engineer will lead and design small to large projects with a primary focus on various structures, including retaining walls, site development, drainage, paving, structural foundations, and structural steel.Job Type: Direct HirePay Rate: $115,000 - $145,000/yearBenefits: Excellent health benefits and paid time off available on the first day of hire!Senior Structural Engineer Responsibilities:Lead the preparation of design concepts, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.Prepare and review design calculations for accuracy.Perform structural analysis, design, and detailing of concrete, steel, and timber structures.Coordinates design drawings with fellow engineers and drafting technicians.Perform design checks as part of the LEI quality metrics and best practices.Participate in the inspection and rehabilitation of existing structures.Help resolve design problems that may include performing field investigations or inspections, detailed design works, and detailed checking of design computations done by others.Calculates quantity estimates.Senior Structural Engineer Skills and Abilities:Familiarity with AutoCAD, SAP2000 or STAAD, and Ensoft (L-pile/A-pile)Availability to travel to client sitesExcellent math and analytical skills.Ability to meet tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Senior Structural Engineer Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.Master's degree is preferred.Professional Engineering registration in Texas or able to obtain within six months of hire.Ability to work on Federal Projects and meet federal requirements.Possession of or eligibility to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) preferred.Senior Structural Engineer Immediate need.
