Promote environmental stewardship and a health and safety-focused culture within the Engineering group. Additional responsibilities include providing support to operating facilities as needed.Responsibilities:Support detailed reviews of all MV/LV electrical design deliverables to ensure all engineering and O&M requirements, specifications, and quality expectations are metAssist Electrical Engineering Project Manager(s) to manage engineering consultants directly, or through an EPC contractor, to insure all design deliverables are provided in a timely manner to maintain project scheduleAssist Electrical Engineering Project Manager(s) to ensure the MV/LV electrical design complies with all company, ISO, utility, regional electrical entity, environmental, health & safety, project local authority, and industry code and standard requirementsDrive design innovation and optimization to ensure reduction in overall project costs to maximize power purchase agreement award potentialAttend monthly project construction meetings to maintain current knowledge of project status and to provide support to achieve on-time project completionManage updates to engineering scope of works, exhibits, design guides, specification, schedule, budget, lessons learned, and other templatesUpload design and other documents to applicable system to support engineering design, OSE RFPs, BoP / EPC RFPs, Construction, and turn over to OperationsManage Independent Engineering deliverables to support tax equity fundingCreate and maintain databases as necessary to streamline internal processesOccasionally provide the preliminary internal engineering needed to support the Development EngineeringAdditional duties as requiredQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is requiredEngineer in Training (EIT) is required0-2 years of design and engineering experience is requiredProfessional Engineering (PE) licensure is preferred, in any stateRenewable Energy experience is preferredPower utility experience is preferredStrong technical, analytical, and quantitative skillsStrong interpersonal skillsStrong level of initiative and ability to work with limited supervisionEmpowering Business.
