Air and Ocean Export Specialist

Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Air and Ocean Export Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing full-cycle export operations and be well-versed in global trade lanes. This role requires expertise in handling various commodities, including dangerous goods, perishables, dry ice, machine parts, ceramics, paintings, and general cargo. The specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations while delivering exceptional customer serviceKey Responsibilities:Manage the full export process from pricing to billing, ensuring efficient and compliant shipmentsOversee designated accounts and trade lanes, providing tailored logistics solutionsCoordinate air and ocean export shipments across global trade lanes, including Asia, the Middle East, India, the Caribbean, Europe, and South AmericaEnsure compliance with TSA regulations, industry standards, and Importer Security Filing (ISF) requirementsHandle dangerous goods (DG) shipments in accordance with international regulationsCommunicate effectively with clients, carriers, and regulatory bodies to facilitate seamless shipmentsUtilize CargoWise and Microsoft Office Suite for documentation, tracking, and reportingQualifications & Requirements:5+ years of air and ocean export experienceDG Certified (Hazmat) with experience handling hazardous materialsStrong knowledge of TSA regulations and international export complianceExperience managing designated accounts and trade lanes independentlyExcellent language and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with global partnersProficiency in CargoWise and Microsoft Office Suite
