Company: Large Manufacturing Company Position: Maintenance Manager ILocation: Dallas, TX (3300 Century Cir, Irving TX 75062)Duration: Perm (25%)Salary: $93,000-100,000Shift Time: 1st shift (starting at around 6am)Start Date: ASAPMUST HAVES:High School Diploma5 years of experience in maintenance or skilled trades role (electrical, mechanical etc)4 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment2 years of experience in leadership/manager role overseeing direct reportsUnderstanding of GMPs, safety, quality, and process reliabilityStrong troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience in a production/manufacturing environmentStrong problem solving, planning, and organizational skills.PLUSSES:Bachelors or Associates degree (engineering)Food & beverage industry experienceProject Engineering backgroundJOB DESCRIPTION:Under the general direction of the Engineering Department Manager, the Maintenance Manager will provide leadership for a functional team within a high-performance environment. Oversees the daily management of the function and drives improvement activities through the development of people and processes. Has overall accountability for the results of the team. Good understanding of procedures and concepts within own technical area and a basic knowledge in other areas. Oversees and supervises Crew Leaders, Electricians, and other skilled employees involved with the maintenance of the plant's building and grounds, processing areas, and packaging lines as needed using Total Productive Maintenance techniques. Other responsibilities may include grounds and building maintenance, facility security, forklift maintenance, storeroom, machine shop and lubrication programs. This position may also be responsible for managing outside contracts for building and grounds maintenance.RESPONSIBILITIES:Directs and supports the daily management/ daily problem-solving initiatives of the team to prioritize work including maintenance activities, site repairs, facilities/utilities activities to increase operational effectiveness and efficiencies. Creates an atmosphere of 100% compliance to operational processes and procedures.Manages the purchase order process for all service work/repairs for the maintenance department, from purchase requisition creation to invoice approvals in SAP.Provides regular performance feedback and oversees development/training plans for individuals within the team.Improves maintenance operations by identifying problems and trends while recommending new approaches.Report on and drive improvement of KPI's by reviewing completed work orders, identifying reoccurring issues, trends, training opportunities or required follow-ups. Audit and Maintain the CMMS. Critique PMs for effectiveness and frequenciesManages the technical aspects of the role, specific to the functional area. This individual shall have proficiency in the development and use of a CMMS system such as Maximo, SAP Maintenance, MP2, Chase as well as accounting system such as Dolphin, Ariba, etc. This individual shall be considered the system expert for that system.Daily resource scheduling, shift exchange management, and implementation of key initiatives in relation to shift teams including but not limited to TPM/JTE, Autonomous Maintenance, Safety & Planned Maintenance.Participate in all plant safety and quality initiatives (JSA, BOS, G4Q, Equipment Risk Assessment, etc)Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Healthcare benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, financial protection benefits, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options. 401k retirement account access is offered starting on the 90th day with employer matching after one year of service.
