The company specializes in electrical connectors, cable ties, heat shrink products, and related items. With a history dating back to 1982, Winar Connection has grown and expanded over the years, focusing on quality wire harness production.Winar is seeking a Cost Estimator to support our Large and Small Wire Harness Divisions.The Cost Estimator will be quoting harnesses and assemblies for all Winar Manufacturing locations. This person will review the customer's documentation, evaluate and review a material, labor and tooling costs then provide a cost to the sales team so they can quote the end customer.The Cost Estimator is an Onsite position and will be working at Winar 1.0 office located at 3816 Timberlake Dr., Richfield, Ohio 44286.The Cost Estimator will report to the Estimating and First Article Manager. What you will do:· Determine the overall cost for each harness and assembly.· Coordinate with purchasing to get any needed raw material costs.· Develop a labor estimate for each harness and assembly being quoted.· Work across multiple departments and site locations to gather data and accurate inputs for quotations.· Continually foster excellent relationships with internal / external customers· Prepare quotations for new/revised/re-quotes per customer proposals, utilizing the company estimating tools, based on the relevant datasheets and/or drawings and feedback from the solution development team.Qualifications:· Proficient in Microsoft Office.· Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels within the organization.· Familiarity with mechanical drawings and ability to interpret views and tolerances.What Will Put You Ahead· Experience as a Cost Estimator.· Experience in a Manufacturing environment.· Experience with wire harnesses and cable assembly type manufacturing techniques and processes.· Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Engineering or comparable work experience.SEND RESUMES TO RWARREN@
