Director of Media RelationsRubenstein Public Relations (RPR) is a leading, full-service, mid-size public relations agency based in New York. We hire go-getters, and seek diverse talent and motivated individuals, and we are committed to creating a vibrant and successful team.Responsibilities:Provide media relations counsel to account team members and clientsStrategize and execute media relations portion of programsAbility to interpret client needs into actionable, achievable media programsStrong knowledge of traditional as well as "out of the box" marketing tacticsBe creative and strategic in the development of programs designed to garner media attentionContinue to build relationships with journalists and press contacts on behalf of theagency, not necessarily tied to specific campaignsLiaising with account teams and clients to provide project updates in a timely mannerQualifications:6+ years of PR agency experienceStrong media contacts and excellent writing skillsProven ability to create media plans from concept and follow through to placementAbility to meet deadlines without sacrificing qualityProven ability to deliver exceptional communications programs and delivering on set targetsAt Rubenstein PR we prioritize diversity.
