About the Company:Our Longwood, FL-based landscape architecture firm is seeking an exceptional Senior Landscape Architect/Project Manager with 10+ years of experience to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the profession of Landscape Architecture. It means that our employees pour their all into their work, thus enhancing their own lives and the lives of those who interact with the spaces they design.Dix Hite + Partners is an equal-opportunity employer and encourages applications from individuals of all backgrounds.Responsibilities:Providing design leadership and documentation direction from start to finish to ensure high-quality, innovative, and functional designManage the team to develop landscape architectural solutions in line with the client's needs, project goals, and environmental impactsIndependently develop design solutions on complex projects with multi-disciplinary teamsSeek feedback to ensure design and technical solutions are appropriate (e.g., via design reviews)Communicate with project and studio team members to manage workloadFoster client relationships and satisfaction through active engagement, responsive communication, and effective management of client and project team changes throughout the project cycle. Build and develop new relationships with clients and allied professionals to win new workDevelop and implement project plans, manage risks, and promote knowledge sharing to drive continuous improvementEstablish and manage project parameters, oversee financial aspects, and ensure project profitability while maintaining regular communicationEnsure high-quality technical outcomes by managing project deliverables, implementing quality procedures, and delivering solutions that meet contractual and industry standardsBuild and lead high-performing teams by strategically staffing projects, managing workflow, providing guidance/mentorship, and fostering professional development while maintaining positive team moraleDrive business growth by leveraging project success, engaging in the development of proposals and client presentations, and utilizing Dix.Hite capabilities to secure new opportunitiesExperience Required:Strong graphics through computer programs and/or hand sketching skillsKnowledge of horticulture, plant materials, climate, and plant habitatFluent in AutoCAD, LandFX, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, MS OfficeAbility to read and interpret design documents and identify and plan for potential risksAdvanced skills in project management including scheduling, negotiation, effective communication with project stakeholders, and technical expertise to move projects forward to a positive outcomeLeadership abilities including coaching, guiding, and motivating project team membersCritical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skillsAligned with our core values of Empowerment, Passion, Integrity, Creativity, and Collaboration (EPICC!)Experience Preferred:Knowledge and experience using Ajera - budgeting, scheduling, reportingKnowledge and experience using RevitFDOT experienceWhy Dix.Hite:We care deeply about our people, our environment, and the communities in which we work.
