Our client is a leader in the commercial HVAC industry, specializing in the latest sustainable builds with a strong focus on energy efficiency and decarbonization.We are seeking a talented Controls Engineer who is looking to work at the forefront of Commercial builds. As part of our design team, you will play a lead role in the design and implementation of large scale building controls and automation, across a range of commercial developments. No two days are the same!What you'll be doing:Program and commissioning control systems (such as Honeywell, Niagara, Trane and others)Interpret mechanical and controls drawings, sequences and design intentTroubleshoot and diagnose control systems.Create user-friendly interfaces and provide quality as-built notes.Assist with project layout, engineering, and design.Supervise control system installations and ensure quality standards.Train junior engineers/technicians and customers on completed projects.Develop positive relationships with customers and vendors.Manage time effectively to ensure timely project completion.What you'll bring:Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and engineering controls solutions.Experience with troubleshooting and diagnosisHigh level of interpersonal skillsStrong organization and time management/planning skillsExperience with Tridium, Honeywell or Trane products preferredThis is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team, working at the forefront of commercial building design.
