Position Overview:ROMTech is now looking for a motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented Assistant to support the Manager of our Durable Medical Equipment (DME) business, Canfield Medical Supply. The ideal candidate will assist with daily administrative, operational, and customer service tasks, ensuring excellent service delivery.Responsibilities:Assist with customers inquiries.Schedule and coordinate appointments for the manager and assist with calls.Manage and maintain organized records.Assist with billing and receivables and generate appropriate reporting as necessary.Prepare reports, correspondence, and presentations as needed.Assist with inventory management; coordinate with vendors to replenish stock.Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, documentation, and policies.Coordinate repair and maintenance services for equipment as required.Assist with processing orders, deliveries, and returns.Provide occasional support with special projects or urgent requests.Assist with Revenue Cycle Management activities including patient registration, coding, claim submission, denial management, collections and compliance.Additional tasks as assigned.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent required.Previous experience in a DME, healthcare, or administrative role is an advantage.Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with billing or inventory software such as QuickBooks and Brightree.Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.A customer-first attitude with empathy and professionalism.Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.Knowledge of DME operations and willingness to learn quickly.Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period.Moderate noise (i.e., phone calls, online meetings, computer audio)While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.Ability to handle repetitive tasks.Must have a valid driver's license to run errands offsite.Regular, predictable attendance is required.Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 70 lbs. with or without assistance.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
