Estimating Manager

LHH is seeking an Estimating Manager for Our Client, a rapidly growing, family-oriented construction company based in Frisco, TX. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled estimator with 5-7 years of experience to step into a leadership role or for an experienced Estimating Manager to lead and develop a team of 2-3 estimators.This role requires wet utility experience and familiarity with multi-family housing and municipal projects. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can effectively communicate with superintendents, GCs, and budget managers, and is eager to contribute to a company that values both technical expertise and a fun, collaborative culture.What You'll Do:Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.Analyze construction documents (blueprints, specifications) to assess project scope and costs.Utilize Microsoft Excel to assemble estimates and support budget development.Assist in bid solicitation and review submissions for contract compliance.Attend pre-bid meetings and contribute to project qualification interviews.Collaborate with leadership on pricing strategies and estimating improvements.Mentor and manage a team of 2-3 estimators, fostering growth and development.Ensure timely reporting and maintain strong vendor and contractor relationships.What You Bring to the Table:5+ years of Estimating experience (ready for the next step or already a seasoned manager).Expertise in wet utilities, multi-family housing, or municipal projects.Strong leadership skills with experience managing estimators or project teams.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Ability to read and analyze construction documents for commercial and civil projects.Strong communication skills for vendor and client interactions.Procore experience (preferred).Why Join Our Client?Family-Oriented Culture - Fun, personable, and supportive team.Rapid Growth - Opportunity for career advancement.Strong Leadership Support - Work directly with company leadership.Competitive Compensation & Benefits - Including medical, dental, PTO, and 401(k)Location: Frisco, TX (Onsite)Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 (DOE)Schedule: Monday - Friday, 45-50 hours per weekIndustry: Construction | Utilities | Multi-Family | Municipal
