The Opportunity: As the Senior Manager, Visual Merchandising, you will be the visionary behind Byredo's in-store brand experience, creating and executing strategies that elevate our presence across diverse retail channels"”boutiques, wholesale, specialty-multi, and independent retail doors. Our commitment to diversity, talent, and teamwork underpins our mission to inspire people worldwide.What you'll get to do: Visual Merchandising Responsibilities:Develop and execute the Retail Marketing Plan, including POS strategy, targets, calendars, and budgets for displays and installations (permanent and temporary).Create strategies to excite shoppers, enhance the in-store experience, and drive sales.Guide product placement to reinforce brand messaging and inspire customers.Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Store Design, Marketing) to deliver creative executions that align with the brand identity and elevate the retail experienceMaintain POS excellence across retail spaces, adapting strategies to unit and retailer-specific needsOversee the design, placement, and implementation of merchandising displaysDevelop and communicate quarterly visual merchandising and display guidelines to ensure consistency across locationsSupport field teams in executing POS materials and in-store events.Research and implement innovative merchandising solutions to stay ahead of trendsManage the procurement, budgeting, and distribution of POS materials in collaboration with Global teamsMonitor compliance with Global guidelines for visual merchandising and in-store standardsAnalyze market trends and consumer behavior to optimize visual merchandising strategiesDesign & Execution:Develop and distribute directives for new product launches, seasonal campaigns, and sell-through objectivesDesign on-brand, engaging visuals for retail activities, ensuring alignment with the brand visionEdit graphics, window displays, and merchandising fixtures for retail environmentsAdapt visual merchandising strategies to support retailer growth while maintaining brand consistencyIdentify cost-effective opportunities to optimize merchandising projects and source impactful solutionsCollaborate with Global Visual Merchandising and design team to align regional activities with brand standardsConduct store visits to ensure consistency, evaluate effectiveness, and approve production qualityStay informed on trends in visual merchandising, materials, and technology to maintain a competitive edgeWe'd love to meet you if you have:Bachelor's degree in visual Merchandising, Store Design, or other related fields (preferred)5+ years in Visual Merchandising, Retail Store Design, or Industrial Design, ideally within beauty or fashionA proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a commitment to achieving goals, delivering strategies, and exceeding customer expectations.Strong graphic design skills with the ability to translate brand identities into compelling 2D and 3D environments.Proficient in tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign (SketchUp, Revit, and AutoCAD a plus)Exceptional visual sensibilities, flexibility, and responsiveness to creative and marketing input. Ability to identify and integrate current fashion and retail trends into designsProblem-Solving: Knowledge of installation processes for both standalone stores and other retail environments, with the ability to interpret construction and fabrication drawings.Proven ability to lead and inspire cross functional team members fostering collaboration and delivering impactful resultsStrong organizational skills, detail-oriented approach, and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with Open Sell environments, on-counter units, and store navigation, along with knowledge of digital file formats and best practicesCompensation: As required by New York State's salary transparency law, effective November 2022, the expected base salary for this position ranges from $120,000.00 - $130,000.00. Various factors are considered when extending offers, such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
