Planet Interactive is looking for a Technical Ad Operations Specialist (Google Ad Manager) to join our well-known Fortune 500 financial services client on a 11-month contract. This role will be 40 hours per week and is 100% remote. ResponsibilitiesManage Google Tag Manager (GTM) environments, processes, and architectureImplement integrity and accuracy of our tagging environment using Google Tag ManagerCreate events and triggers in Google Tag Manager using JavaScriptLead GTM projects from inception through completion. This includes partnering with technical and non-technical stakeholders to build requirements, set up, implement, and manage the quality controlAssist with migration of third-party tag container to first-party tag containerImplement a master pixel approach for all partner tagsWork with the engineering team to implement tag-monitoring solutionsDrive effort to automate QA of martech tools when product launches change to onboarding or conversion eventsEstablish Google Tag Manager naming convention for tagsRegular communication with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to enable iterative improvements to optimizations, tracking, and reportingTroubleshoot and QA issues with product engineers and solutions architectsMaintain up-to-date technical specifications and any additional documentation to ensure accurate and comprehensive analytics tagging and reportingPrimary point of contact to manage all technical issues and inquiries between and amongst key internal and external partners (media agencies, vendors, publishers) Act as agency liaison with external partners regarding campaign tags, data tracking (pre, mid, post), placement scheduling, implementation, troubleshooting, and reportingQualifications4+ years' experience in digital ad operations at a publisher, an ad tech company, an ad agency, or an ad networkExpert with Google Tag Manager Working knowledge of DCM, Sizmek, or other ad servers is strongly preferredStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skills involving technologyResults orientations with strong independent and team project management and time management skillsSolid written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate/translate complex concepts to a non-technical audience Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL/database design preferred
