Vice President, AdvancementLocation: Addison, Texas Position DescriptionThe Vice President, Advancement is a warm, lively, people-oriented person who will play a pivotal role in elevating the organization's fundraising efforts and deepening relationships with high-level donors, foundations, and community stakeholders. Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Vice President, Advancement will design and execute a comprehensive advancement strategy to drive significant revenue through a diversified fundraising portfolio while enhancing the organization's visibility and impact.Major Areas of ResponsibilityPassionately engage, oversee, and cultivate major donor/foundation relationships. Carry and manage a portfolio of existing top donors and implement personalized strategies.Maintain regular communication and provide personalized acknowledgments.Grow and enthusiastically engage major donors through the identification, cultivation, and solicitation of major gifts.Regularly make specific, personalized, meaningful financial requests to major donors.Lead, inspire, and motivate the development/fundraising team, crafting specific and measurable goals for the following categories:Marketing, communications, appeals, campaignsGrant writing and grant reportingFundraising eventsFinancial support from individuals, corporations, churchesAcquisition of new donors and stakeholdersVolunteers and community awareness eventsDonor stewardshipAct as an ambassador for Traffick911 through public speaking events as an expert on the issue, and other public appearances/engagements.Build trust-based relationships with the programs team in order to authentically communicate about Traffick911's impact.Participate in quarterly board meetings, reporting on revenue and engaging the board in fundraising opportunities.In partnership with the grant writer, oversee all grant writing initiatives and manage all secured grants including grant reporting.Collaborate closely with the program data team on the front and back ends of grants to ensure alignment.Oversee the execution of the donor stewardship communication plan.Oversee the development of the annual fundraising budget (revenue and expenses), reviewing and reporting monthly.Regularly analyze fundraising data and maintain data integrity across organization systems alongside the Vice President, Finance & Administration. This is accomplished by a 24/7 crisis response and the Voice & Choice Program Team walking alongside child sex trafficking victims and with Multi-Disciplinary Team partners. Traffick911 was founded in 2009 by a community activist who discovered that child sex trafficking was happening in North Texas. Over its history, the organization's abolition efforts include training over 82,000 youth and adults face-to-face with prevention and awareness messages, training over 18,000 first responders, and directly serving over 1,000 survivors.
