About the Role:Job Title: Assembly Technician Job Description:Responsibilities:Collaboration with Design Teams:? Work closely with design engineers to understand the product specifications and requirements.? Provide feedback on design for manufacturability (DFM) and suggest improvements to enhance the assembly process.Process Development:? Develop and optimize assembly processes for new drone products.? Implement efficient manufacturing workflows, considering cost-effectiveness and quality standards.? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and process.Prototyping and Validation:? Oversee the creation of prototypes for new drone models.? Conduct thorough testing and validation of assembly processes to identify and resolve potential issues.Quality Assurance:? Establish quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed specifications.? Implement and monitor rigorous quality assurance protocols throughout the process.Supply Chain Coordination:? Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure timely availability of components for drone products.? Identify and address any supply chain issues that may impact production schedules.Continuous Improvement:? Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.? Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall product quality.Required Skills:• Background in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.• Proven experience in NPI engineering, preferably in the drone or aerospace industry.• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and assembly techniques.• Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM) principles.• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.• Effective communication and collaboration skills.• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.LocationGeorgetown, Seattle WA (100% Onsite)Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $55K- $60K Annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
