Demand Planning Analyst

The Demand Planning Specialist II focuses on forecasting and inventory planning to develop comprehensive demand forecasts by collaborating with Marketing and other departments. This role is crucial for managing inventory levels effectively.Responsibilities:Create demand forecasts using historical data and inputs from various departments.Develop supply forecasts aligned with demand plans, considering product transitions.Monitor national inventory levels and collaborate with the deployment team.Analyze daily reports, ensuring forecasts and inventory meet targets.Work with manufacturing on inventory recovery plans.Conduct root cause analysis on slow and non-moving items.Partner with Product Life Cycle Analyst to manage obsolete items.Provide insights on cash spend and inventory risks.Prepare presentations for inventory operations and marketing meetings.Drive continuous process improvements.Guide the item master team on product configuration issues.Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of two years in demand planning or forecasting.Education: Four-year college degree.Skills:Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Access.Knowledge of Six Sigma and APICS certification preferred.Familiarity with Oracle and SQL programming is a plus.Advanced understanding of demand planning software applications.About the Company: At Ricoh, a team driven by passion and purpose is committed to delivering services and technologies that empower business success.
