Project Estimator

LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Project Estimator located in Wadsworth, OH area. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for steel fabrication and erection projects. This role requires a deep understanding of steel construction processes, materials, and costs, as well as strong analytical and communication skills.Responsibilities:Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates for steel fabrication and erection projects.Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expenses specific to steel fabrication and erection.Prepare and present detailed cost breakdowns and reports to project stakeholders.Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.Monitor and update estimates as project details change, and new information becomes available.Assist in the preparation of project budgets and schedules.Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project costs.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience as an Estimator in the steel fabrication and erection industry.Strong knowledge of steel construction processes, materials, and cost estimation techniques.Proficiency in estimation software and tools.Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational and time management skills.
