A prominent law firm is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Temporary Litigation Legal Assistant to provide comprehensive support to its litigation team. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in legal support who can effectively assist with case management, document preparation, and administrative duties.Key Responsibilities:Assist attorneys with litigation case management, including calendaring deadlines, coordinating meetings, and tracking case progress.Draft, proofread, format, and e-file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and trial preparation materials in state and federal courts.Organize and maintain case files (physical and electronic), manage correspondence, and handle administrative tasks.Support document production, respond to discovery requests, and organize exhibits for depositions or hearings.Conduct legal and factual research to support case strategies as needed.Liaise with clients, court personnel, vendors, and opposing counsel in a professional and timely manner.Prepare exhibits, coordinate with court reporters, schedule witnesses, and assist with logistics during trial.Qualifications:Minimum of 2-4 years of litigation support experience in a law firm or legal setting.Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certification preferred.Proficiency in legal software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Relativity, or comparable case management tools).Familiarity with e-filing systems for state and federal courts.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Compensation:$35 - $42/hr. depending on relevant experienceMatura Farrington is an EEOC employer and will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance and all other local, state and federal laws.
