We operate in 13 states with a philosophy that we are much more than a brick manufacturer and distributor.SummaryWe are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Coordinator to join our small but mighty marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering engagement, managing online communities, and supporting our social media strategies across various platforms. You'll be a strong and reliable support to company operations, maintaining procedures, driving communication, and ensuring that the Acme Brand is represented well. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)· Manage day-to-day communication with our social media audience across all active platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube)· Monitor passive platforms (BlueSky, Threads)· Monitor, respond to, and moderate user comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner· Collaborate with the Social Media Specialist to develop and implement community engagement strategies· Assist with identifying and engaging with influencers, potential brand advocates, and partner brands to expand community outreach· Assist in planning and executing social media contests, interactive content, and campaigns that prompt responses or conversations· Stay current on social media trends, best practices, and platform updates· Support crisis management efforts by monitoring and addressing potential issues on social channels· Utilize social listening tools (e.g. Meltwater, Sprout Social) to track positive and negative feedback as well as trending topics, aiming to enhance engagement and address any conflicts that could impact the brand's reputation· Partners with creative and production teams on performance results, trends, inspiration, optimization opportunities, etc.Skills and Experience Required for Success· Bachelor's degree (preferred but not required) or equivalent experience in marketing, journalism, English, communications, or public relations preferred· Prefer experience in social media management or community management· Experience with the major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube)· Microsoft Office experience (specifically with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
