Part-Time Content Marketing Assistant

DOCE MEZCAL is looking for a Part-Time Content Marketing Assistant to join a growing women-owned spirits brand in the heart of NYC. Work alongside the CoFounders & sales team to create engaging brand content and assist in establishing a social media management system + maintaining digital brand communications. Act as creative support, execution assistant for the Doce Mezcal digital identity. This role will be responsible for producing/filming/editing Doce Mezcal social media content while performing the PT project management and administrative duties related to the brand's social media marketing initiatives. The right candidate will be experienced & familiar in the world of culture, video editing and social media trends/tools. Bonus points for an elevated sense of style, creative vision & a great sense of humor to match. Doce Mezcal is a small but mighty start-up, so no job is too big or too small for our team.RESPONSIBILITIES:Interpret the monthly social media calendar to conceptualize and create video & photo content that aligns with the strategy, marketing goals, brand, and messaging guidelines.Produce, film, edit, and post high-quality videos + photo content for Doce Mezcal's designated social channels on a weekly basis Produce written copy based on brand ethos and communication guidelines Weekly + Daily Social Media posts on designated platforms Create visually appealing and engaging static & video content that resonates with the Doce Mezcal target demographics.Coordinate with all internal & external team members involved in the content creation process, and/or any team members that will be featured in a video.Visit Doce Mezcal On + Off Premis account to capture product content. Attend events, activations, & special projects as needed to capture video content, BTS, and imagery to support the brand content and marketing efforts Provide a monthly analytics report on engagement, followers, and overall performance.Other duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTS A creative eye and high level of taste and stylistic point of view In the know of timely trends happening in lifestyle categories (F&B, fashion, hospitality, beauty) Ability to navigate & learn various social media marketing platformsVersatility in producing a range of content stylesOrganized, detail oriented with an ability to project manage Located in NYC & Able to work in-person on a weekly basisSelf-starter with an availability to work in a fast paced & ever changing sector Ability to take on initiatives, personal projects & pitch fresh ideas Must be located in NYC Must be 21+ with Valid IDQUALIFICATIONS:1+ years experience in Social media/content creation & editing. Experience with all social media platforms with a strong understanding & interest in the marketing side of social media marketing.Understanding of Doce Mezcal's audience, brand, and aesthetic. Natural, witty, with an elevated sense of humor and stylistic point of view Strong storytelling and creative skills. Strong technical skills in video production and editing software & tools Ability to work and produce deliverables independently. Ability to plan ahead and manage projects for the team Exceptional communication skills, project management skills, and ability to meet tight timelines in a fast-paced & flexible environment.
