The Brand Manager, Innovation is an important role in the organization whose primary role is managing the innovation brand strategies to drive growth and increase market share for the No7 brand. The Brand Manager will need to be a strong business partner to Global Product team, Sales, Category Management, Insights, Finance, Supply Chain. The Brand Manager - Innovation will focus on sizing innovation opportunities for US market along with influencing global concept development.Key Responsibilities Partner with global and cross functional teams on the development of the brand innovation plans:Partner with Brand Director and Sr Brand Director to develop US innovation strategy to achieve sales growth goals and marketing objectives (trial/household penetration with target consumer groups)Participate in the development of and be responsible for the alignment to US innovation calendar (including launch cadence and retailer deployment)Manage development of business cases and collaborate on forecast/financial models to evaluate the potential impact and feasibility of new brand initiatives or product launchesWork cross functionally to define and own innovation commercialization process for US market (including weekly POM meetings, Commercial engagement sessions, Business Case submissions and forecasting)Partner closely with Global team to develop North America NPD and EPD plansOwn and maintain monthly Sufficiency tracking; largely responsible for consistently updating entire team on any changes to innovation calendarResponsible for development of innovation presentations and materials for internal and external usageManage innovation initiatives: drive the projects by working with cross functional teams (Customer Marketing, Sales, Demand Planning, Finance, etc.); progress and track the development of all product initiatives; and ensure timely launch within cost/margin objectivesStay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and market trends related to innovation and brandingAdditional responsibilities include: supporting pricing analysis/strategy for NPD projects, portfolio management (add/delete), synthesizing sales data to track ongoing sales performanceA bit about you... Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred5-7 years' experience in marketing with beauty experience, with increasing responsibilityStrong project management skills; impeccable attention to detail, organization, prioritization, and analytic skills with a proven ability to multi-task and manage complexityMust have strong leadership ability with experience working with varying levels of seniority (local and global) - dynamic, flexible, positive attitude, and team spiritSelf-Starter attitude, entrepreneurial spirit, and ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environmentStrong strategic, analytical, and quantitative skillsExperience /knowledge in emerging digital/social media platformsExcellent written, verbal and virtual communication skillsProven interpersonal skills with strong coaching and leadership skills for team developmentProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPointA bit about us...We are No7 Beauty Company, a division of Walgreens Boots Alliance, a modern consumer goods company with purpose, that combines the best of traditional companies with the vibrancy and pace of a new digital-first business.
