RESPONSIBILITIESRecruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions, collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.Conduct background checks and employee eligibility verifications.Ability to balance multiple projects or tasks while effectively prioritizing to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. This strategically and recognizes when it's necessary to dig into details.Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors and referring complex matters to the appropriate staff when needed.Assist with employee relation issues.Conduct onboarding and training, including all new hire paperwork (I-9).Assist with open enrollment and benefits inquiries.Conduct Exit interviews as needed.Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations. Recommend best practices, reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.Assist with employee recognition programs.Ability to create and run payroll reports.Performs other responsibilities as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS3-5+ years of well-rounded HR experience Working knowledge of ADP or similar payroll systemMust have excellent verbal and written communications skills.Must be flexible, self-directed and able to interact effectively with employees at all levels.Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.Advances computer skills, proficient in MS Office & Excel.
