The mission of the Director of HR is to manage the entire HR function both in the department and across the organization. A priority would be the recruiting process (requisition through onboarding), performance management, and career development for employees but all functions in the department are managed by the Director.Responsibilities8+ years of Human Resources experience at a high-performing organization, minimum of 5 year's experience at the Director level.A proud high performer with the demonstrated ability to uphold high-performance standards across an HR team and subsequently across the organization.Proven leadership of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational development, employee relations, benefits administration and performance management.Strong relationship management across internal departments and throughout the organization.Ability to build an employee brand presence online to support the recruitment of "A" players who will help our organization scale and grow.Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention. Proven experience in OWNING a full cycle recruiting process in a growing organization.Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes and training, initiatives to support the organization's human resource compliance and strategy needs.Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organization's human resource information system (HRIS) and/or talent management system.Monitors and ensures the organization's compliance with Federal, State, And Local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; Reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies In human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to the executive team.Education detailsBachelor's degree required, preferably in Business Administration or HR Management. Master's degree preferred.
