This role involves collaborating with a team of specialists to assess global hazard communication requirements, author Safety Data Sheets (SDS), review and approve product labeling, and conduct risk assessments. The successful candidate will ensure our products meet all relevant safety regulations and standards, supporting product safety across multiple regions.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the Product Safety Team to evaluate and assess hazard communication requirements for various products.Author and maintain SDS for all products, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.Conduct hazard assessments and risk evaluations for both new and existing products.Review and approve product labeling and Risk Management Reports to ensure hazard communication is accurate and complete.Ensure compliance with local, national, and international hazard communication regulations (OSHA, GHS, CLP, REACH, etc.).Assist in the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures.Provide technical support and guidance on product safety issues to internal teams.Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure continuous compliance.Assist in investigating and resolving product safety incidentsPrepare and present safety reports and documentation as required.Qualifications:Required:Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field.At least 3 years of experience in product safety, hazard communication, or a related field.Strong knowledge of hazard communication regulations (e.g., OSHA, GHS, CLP, REACH), and Dangerous Goods classification.Experience authoring Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and conducting hazard assessments.Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration within a team.Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.Proficiency with hazard communication management software and tools.Preferred:Experience in the chemical or manufacturing industryDangerous Goods certifiedExperience with both OSHA and REACH, particularly in conducting hazard assessments.
