We are committed to driving innovation and excellence in the venture capital ecosystem by equipping investors with world-class skills and connecting them with impactful opportunities.About the Role:Venture University is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Endowment Development and Strategic Fundraising to lead the creation and execution of a global endowment strategy. This individual will play a critical role in securing funds for VU's endowment and may also support capital-raising initiatives for our venture capital fund.Responsibilities:Develop and implement a strategic fundraising plan to establish and grow Venture University's endowment.Identify, cultivate, and build relationships with potential donors, including HNW individuals, family offices, corporations, and institutional investors globally.Collaborate with the leadership team to define funding priorities and create compelling cases for support.Manage the endowment fundraising process, including outreach, donor meetings, proposal development, and closing gifts.Raise additional capital for VU's venture capital fund as needed.Monitor fundraising metrics, provide regular progress updates, and ensure timely reporting to stakeholders.Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and ethical fundraising practices.Qualifications:A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in endowment fundraising or capital raising, with a demonstrated track record of securing significant contributions from global donors.Strong network of existing relationships with potential donors, investors, and endowment funding sources.Proven ability to develop and execute successful fundraising strategies for endowments and/or funds.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate a compelling vision and build meaningful relationships.Self-starter with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently.Experience in the venture capital or education sector is a plus.Compensation:Competitive base salary.Additional performance-based compensation tied to successful capital-raising milestones.Equal Opportunity Statement:Venture University is an equal opportunity employer.
