Job Title: Logistics Supervisor - Bi-Lingual (Mandarin Required)Location: Piscataway, New JerseyEmployment Type: Direct HirePay Range: $80,000 - $100,000 annuallySchedule: Monday-Friday (must be flexible to start as early as 6 AM, 7 AM, or 8 AM)Job SummaryWe are seeking a disciplined and team-focused Logistics Supervisor fluent in both English and Mandarin to oversee delivery and warehouse operations. This role demands strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage and coordinate a dynamic team. The successful candidate will ensure operational efficiency, compliance with safety standards, and maintain a proactive approach to solving logistics challenges.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervision and ManagementSupervise and coach delivery and warehouse personnel to ensure proper execution of processes.Oversee unloading, staging, and loading of shipments for redistribution and delivery.Manage drivers, monitor schedules for potential delays, and resolve any issues.Approve timecards and manage overtime as needed.Ensure compliance with all organizational policies and procedures.Perform additional duties as assigned by management.Operational EfficiencyOversee delivery methods, create driver logs, and resolve shipment scanning issues.Establish and maintain warehouse schedules for optimal staffing levels.Coordinate staffing requirements with agencies, detailing hours, quantities, and days of work.Utilize performance metrics and resources to measure team efficiency and workload.Collaborate with management to revise and enhance training programs.Communication and CoordinationAttend weekly staff meetings and recommend improvements to SOPs, operations, or technology usage.Manage follow-ups for incidents or accidents within the warehouse or field.Ensure smooth communication with team members and management to facilitate operations.Maintenance and SafetyDirect daily housekeeping and maintenance of warehouse facilities.Ensure compliance with DOT/OSHA safety standards to maintain a safe work environment.QualificationsProven experience in logistics, shipping, and/or team management.Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.Effective team-focused leadership skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams.Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Basic math and analytical skills.Fluency in Mandarin is required.Mandatory training in Lewisville, TX, for 2-3 months before reporting to Piscataway, NJ.
