Employment Type9+ Month contract with potential for extensions and conversion to FTEJob SiteKent, WA - OnsitePay Rate Range$42/hr - 46.20/hrShifts AvailableMonday - Thursday: 5:00AM - 3:30PMMonday - Thursday: 3:00PM - 1:30AMFriday/Saturday/Sunday: 5:00AM - 6:00PMBenefitsMedical insurance, 401K, sick leave as applicable by state law, and EAP.We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Aircraft Mechanic to assemble, inspect, test, and troubleshoot advanced mechanical systems for cutting-edge aerospace projects. Your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring mission readiness and aircraft safety, contributing to innovations in the aviation and aerospace industries.Key Responsibilities:Perform assembly, maintenance, and repair of a variety of aircraft components, including structural, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanically actuated systems.Perform close-tolerance drilling, reaming, and fastener installation for structural assemblies.Troubleshoot, test, and repair avionics and mechanical systems to ensure compliance with FAA or industry standards.Collaborate with engineers and technical teams to provide feedback for assembly processes, design concepts, and aircraft modifications.Follow detailed work instructions, schematics, and blueprints to complete maintenance or assembly tasks.Conduct quality checks and inspections to verify functionality and safety of all components and systems.Qualifications:EducationHigh School Diploma required.Associate degree, certification, or equivalent military training in aviation mechanics, aerospace maintenance, or a related field preferred.Experience3-5 years of hands-on experience in aviation mechanics or precision assembly.Experience with aircraft structural assembly, repairs, and maintenance, including close-tolerance work.Familiarity with FAA regulations, aerospace standards, and aviation systems.SkillsProficiency in reading and interpreting technical schematics, blueprints, and work instructions.Skilled in using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments.Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and avionics systems in aviation or aerospace.Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to teamwork and safety.If you're passionate about aviation mechanics and ready to contribute to exciting advancements in aerospace technology, we'd love to hear from you!WHY AVERRO?Averro is a Veteran-Owned organization dedicated to delivering innovative talent solutions, business consulting, and technology services that propel businesses and careers forward.
