Since its founding, the company has built a strong track record in the single-tenant retail, grocery-anchored shopping center, and healthcare real estate sectors. Continuously expanding, the company's pipeline of projects has never been more robust and has extended its footprint well beyond California.Location: Sonora, CA (In office role) at the beautiful foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains & one hour from Yosemite National Park. This position is an in-office/non-hybrid/non-remote role. Three amazing leadership opportunities for one of Northern California's preeminent retail real estate development firms. Since the 1970's, the company has been offering diverse investment, development, construction, and property management services across multiple property types with a focus on class A essential service, single tenant and build-to-suit development, serving a variety of Fortune 500 and small to medium-sized retail clients.Director of Real Estate - The "Deal Manager" will report to the principal, overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring a smooth handoff to the project managers on the development and construction team while also managing delivery and stabilization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of retail real estate development and be skilled in underwriting, deal structuring, commercial lease negotiation, pre-development, and transaction management.Must have 10 to 15 years in retail acquisition and transaction management. Experience leading site evaluation, selection, entitlements, title and escrow activities, real estate and legal activities, developing business plans, and working with local municipalities. Director of Construction - Oversee a team of 12 Project Managers, Project superintendents, coordinators, and accounting across 14 retail development projects at any time. Reports to the principal and is on the executive leadership team. Site visits only once a month. Must have at least 15 to 20 years of experience in retail ground-up development. Must have proven leadership experience overseeing project managers. Development Project Manager - Reports to the principal and oversees all due diligence, design, budgeting, and pre-construction for ALL of the company's development projects. This is primarily an in-office role with little travel to sites. Deep and vast experience in design, architecture, engineering, permitting, and working with retail tenants. (Required)A deep understanding and extensive experience in retail and shopping center development.
