Dewpoint offers great benefits, competitive salary, and amazing perks.In this role you will...Serve as the Program/Project manager for multiple discovery-preclinical staged research projects, partnering closely with scientific leads to translate project strategies into actionable plans that include budgets, resources, and timelines.Develop and maintain integrated project plans, ensuring seamless coordination and tracking of all activities and resources to drive progress and enable informed decision-making.Foster communication and collaboration across project teams by facilitating discussions, resolving issues, driving decisions, and identifying risks with thoughtful mitigation strategies.Own project timelines and resources by forecasting needs, managing variances, and providing clear updates to senior leadership on potential or actual impacts.Connect the dots between teams, sub-teams, and cross-functional platforms to ensure alignment and efficiency.Streamline team collaboration by organizing and maintaining tools like MS Teams and document repositories.Prepare project teams for success in governance interactions, supporting activities from project proposals to execution phases.Support Research governance operations - in partnership with the Head of R&D Strategic Planning and Operationsyou will support the strategic tracking and management of the agendas, pre-reads, meeting minutes, action and decision tracking, and provide other operational support for the research governance committee. Shape our project management excellence by contributing to the evolution of best practices and fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and innovation within project teams.Embrace agility, taking on exciting new initiatives as they arise in our fast-paced, startup environment.To thrive in this role, you'll need...A bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, or a related field.3+ years of hands-on project management experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.5+ years of research experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, with a deep understanding of drug discovery and preclinical development.Proven ability to navigate complex, matrixed teams, leading them with confidence and clarity to achieve ambitious goals.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.Demonstrated success in challenging assumptions, identifying risks, proposing mitigation strategies, and maintaining timelines and resource forecasts.Proficiency in at least one portfolio, project, and resource management tool (e.g., MS Project, Clarizen, Planview, Workfront, Smartsheets or similar platforms).The ability to juggle multiple projects in a multidisciplinary, fast-paced, and dynamic environment while staying organized and solution-oriented.Fluent communication in English, the shared language of our vibrant and multicultural team.It is nice but not essential that you also have...Relevant advanced science degree, e.g. PhD, MBA, or M.Sc.,Breadth of scientific expertise with solid understanding of early-stage project strategy and drug discoveryFamiliarity with IND to early clinical drug developmentThis role is an exciting opportunity for a solution-driven, collaborative leader who thrives in a supportive, innovative, and fast-moving environment.
