Electrical Estimator

DEI Systems LLC is currently hiring an Electrical Estimator to join our team in Tewksbury, MA. We're looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about working on some of the most exciting, high profile, state-of-the-art projects.DEI Systems LLC, is a premier electrical contractor performing work throughout New England. DEI has expertise with projects in virtually every field of Electrical Construction - Design/Build Services, Commercial Developments, Multi-Family, Mix-Use, and Industrial, as well as Government and Institutional projects.Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.Prepare estimates by calculating complete takeoffs of scope of work and enter into Electrical Bid Manager (EBM)Request quotes from suppliers for equipment and materialsIdentify qualified suppliers and subcontractors for quotesReview quotes for completeness with plans and specificationsResponsible for the timely completion of all takeoffs and costs analysis for estimatesDraft scope letter inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications for estimatesComplete proposal costs for distribution and reviewRequirements:3+ years of electrical construction estimating experienceHigh school or GED required, AS or BS in Electrical or Construction Mgr. or similar preferred (not required)Proficient with MS OfficeProficient with PDF programsExperience with estimating software (EMB, Conest or similar)DEI Offers:A Full Time Stable Career Opportunity offering Competitive wagesMedical and Dental InsuranceLife and AD&D coverage 100% employer paidRich 401K Contributions with aggressive vested scheduleRetirement planPaid time offJob Type: Full-time
