Employee Benefits and Engagement Manager

Our client's distribution platform provides services to mid-sized food manufacturers across the Midwest to enhance and streamline their distribution operations. This role reports to the Chief HR Officer and plays a pivotal part in managing employee benefits programs and driving engagement initiatives across multiple locations.Employee Benefits & Engagement ManagerResponsibilities:Manage health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives and other employee benefitsOversee employee leave programs (PTO, FMLA, parental leave), ensuring compliance and efficiencyServe as the go-to person for employee benefits inquiries and problem resolutionPartner with vendors and brokers to implement cost-effective benefits solutionsLead benefits education sessions and manage the annual open enrollment processDevelop and execute strategies to promote a positive and inclusive workplace cultureOrganize employee events, recognition programs and team-building activitiesConduct employee surveys, analyze results and work with leaders to enhance engagementChampion diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives across all levels of the organizationEnsure compliance with labor laws and regulations related to benefits and engagementMaintain accurate records and provide actionable insights using engagement and benefits metricsMonitor industry trends to recommend innovative practicesEmployee Benefits & Engagement ManagerRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field4+ years of experience in benefits administration and employee engagementStrong knowledge of HR best practices and compliance requirementsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationshipsAdvanced proficiency in Excel and HRIS systemsBilingual in Spanish (preferred)Ability to travel locally weekly and quarterly to locations outside of Chicago If you are interested and meet the qualifications above, we invite you to apply to the Employee Benefits & Engagement Manager opening today.
