Job DescriptionJob OverviewMcDermott is looking for an engineering intern to join our Process Engineering team in the Houston office.As an intern, you will have the chance to learn about process design, application of codes and standards, design techniques and analysis methods.You will work in a project team environment, engaging with peers and mentors as you develop and review engineering documentation and grow in your career.ResponsibilitiesKey Tasks and ResponsibilitiesGain understanding of process scope of work and specificationsAssist in development of key Process Engineering design documentationDevelop and review equipment datasheetsDevelop Line ListDevelop Process Flow Diagram (PFD) and Process & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID)Essential Qualifications and EducationRecently graduated, or a semester away from graduation, in a bachelor's or master's engineering curriculumStrong analytical and mathematic skillsGood written and verbal communication skillsExcellent time management and professionalismExperience with using MS Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel)A growth mindset and willingness to learn and accept improvement feedbackEligible to work in the United StatePreferred Qualifications and EducationExperience working in databasesFamiliar with key Process Engineering design documentationAdditional NotesRelocation will not be providedAbout UsOur ingenuity fuels daily life.
