Morales Group Staffing has a need for an Operations Manager for the Night Replenishment position working for Crecera Brands - a State -of - the - Art Distribution Facility that has opened recently in Greenfield, Indiana. The shift for this position is Monday - Thursday 6pm - 4:30 am.We are looking for candidates with 2-3 years of first-line supervisory experience in a warehouse and/or distribution environment, with preference given to experience in a Direct - to- Consumer (e-commerce) fulfillment center or other fast-paced operation.Salary is $70-$80k.ABOUT THE COMPANYCrecera Brands is the driving force behind Sportsman's Guide, The Golf Warehouse, and Baseball , three of America's leading retailers of outdoor gear, sporting goods and golf supplies. The state of the art facility includes several amenities on site for employees to enjoy the products sold by the company.POSITION SUMMARYThe Operations Manager will provide leadership, direction and motivation to hourly Team members in a warehouse distribution center. Communicates the vision, mission, and business objectives to team members. Responsible for operational performance in terms of safety, quality, efficiency, and cost within area(s) of responsibility. Supports continuous improvement initiatives. Enhances the skills, knowledge, and abilities of team members through continuous coaching. Applies company policies and work rules towards team members consistent with the needs of the business.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESManage area(s) of responsibility using key performance indicators (KPIs).Establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships laterally, upward and downward among all functions/departments in order to accomplish the Company's mission and strategic goals.Possess a sense of ethics and an interpersonal and management style that lends itself to promoting a positive work culture.Maintain a safe work environment by applying safety rules and minimizing and eliminating safety hazards achieve safety goals through safety awareness, prompt follow-up to accidents and near-misses, and implementation of corrective measures.In partnership with Operations and Human Resources, is responsible for the application of company policies, and takes necessary steps to take disciplinary action to address violations of company work rules or policies in areas of responsibility.Attend and/or conduct training to improve knowledge, skill and ability.Drive a performance culture by providing real time feedback and coaching in addition to the annual performance assessment process.Participate in daily start-up meetings/announcements.Labor utilization and daily production Planning.Productivity tracking and Daily reports.6S implementation and maintenance.Timesheet maintenance, attendance tracking and approval for team members and temps.Learn the business through hands on experience.Exhibit flexibility in daily operations.Complete projects, participate on committees and tasks as assigned.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE2-3 years of first-line supervisory experience in a warehouse and/or distribution environment, with preference given to experience in a Direct - to- Consumer (e-commerce) fulfillment center or other fast-paced operation.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in supply chain management, Operations Management, Distribution, Business Management preferred.Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).Proven skills in the use of KPIs to monitor, manage and improve operational performance.Knowledge of quality and process improvement techniques and prior participation in continuous improvement initiatives.Proven leadership skills in communicating the company's vision, training and improving the skills of team members, team building, and conflict management.Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills that enable effective communications with all levels of the organization.Excellent organizational skills - able to prioritize and plan activities and the work of others, allocate resources, and achieve results within the constraint of budgetary targets.Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) at an Intermediate level.Flexibility to work in all Operations departments and shifts as needed.Must be able to positively adapt to change.Crecera Brands is committed to providing equal opportunity and reasonable accommodations to employees with disabilities.
