Hardesty, LLC on behalf of our client, a multi-faceted Real Estate Investment Platform is searching for a Senior Financial Analyst. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen in residential real estate markets. This role involves conducting thorough financial analysis, forecasting, and underwriting to support our clients and potential clients' investment strategies for multi-family, build for rent, traditional residential, and master planned lots. The Senior Real Estate Analyst will play a crucial role in evaluating potential investment opportunities on behalf of our clients and preparing proposals for potential new clients.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDetailed underwrite/modeling one year and multi-year pro-forma'sTrain and mentor financial analystsReview underwriting in presentations and proposals with clients (in-person or online)Join business development on client calls or presentations to discuss potential new assets or clientsCreate new asset 12-month detailed operating budgetsReview existing asset service contractsConducts market research and analyzes market data including market occupancy, rental rates, demographics, competitor positioning and economic information.Create and update proposals and presentations that are presented to prospective clientsInterface with multifamily real estate brokers for scheduling property tours with/for clients and requesting updated financial reports during underwriting.Assists with ad-hoc/special projects as needed.Recommend processes to improve company efficiency.Responsible for day-to-day communications with the Supervisor and ensuring all reporting and tasks are completed on time.Requirements:5+ years experience in real estate analysis and modelingStrong Understanding of residential underwriting.Proficiency in Microsoft Office - strong proficiency in Excel.Strong analytical skills & ability to grasp new concepts quickly.Strong written and verbal skills.Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information.Experiencemultifamily real estate analysis: 3 years (Required)using Excel models: 3 years (Required)Education:Bachelor's Degree required - Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Business Administration, or related fields preferred.
