Civil Structural Engineer

Experience and expertise in the identification, analysis, and resolution of engineering, technical and design problems.Effective planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling, and monitoring of work activities.Thorough, timely, and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations, and sketches.Continuous improvement of job-related engineering, technical and professional knowledge, skills, process development, and performance.Effective oral and written communication skills.Ability to understand and create substation civil-structural drawing packages (foundations, structural steel, bus and cable) utilizing national code, industry standards and best practices is a plusQualifications:7+ years of experience in Structural Engineering or related structural design fieldKnowledge of Substation Structural design requirements and standards (ASCE 7, ASCE 113, IBC, etc.) is a plusProficient in structural software RISA, SAP 2000, STAAD Pro, RevitBSCE degree from an accredited college or universityIt is preferred that the applicant has successfully completed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) or Engineer in Training (EIT) examination, with plans to complete the Professional Engineering registration.
