Our client is an American-owned original patent holder and global leader in industrial manufacturing, used for environmentally friendly cleaning, surface preparation, and parts finishing. They are now expanding their business and are partnering with one of the biggest lithium-ion battery manufacturing companies in the world.We are now looking for a dedicated and experienced Embedded Systems Engineer to join their expanding team in Loveland, Ohio.Job Profile for Embedded Systems EngineerResponsibilities will include but not be limited to:Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable C/C++ codeDevelop and maintain high-quality machine electrical controls and I-IoT connectedsystems for one of their key automated product linesWork closely with other engineers to develop new productsWork with cross-functional project teams and manage/represent the electrical/controlsfunction for new and existing productsPlan, design, develop, manage, document, test, deploy, and support new and existing modulesCreate and maintain electrical/control product specifications and requirements throughoutthe product development cycleSpecify electrical system components and design to ensure conformance with international regulatory codes (EEC, UL, etc.), power requirements and overall performance specificationsDocument designs and specifications using computer-assisted design/draftingequipment, manufacturing database, and softwareProvide support and training to the global customer service in electrical/controls diagnostics, troubleshooting, field servicing, and to the manufacturing operations as neededContribute to the overall success of the organisationCandidate Profile for Embedded Systems EngineerMust be fluent in English, both written and spokenBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems/Controls Engineering or applicable work experienceMinimum of 5 years of experience in industrial machine design and developmentExtensive programming experience in C, C++, and C#Experience with wireless sensor controls and developing firmware for industrial IoT productsHands-on with STM32 (firmware and hardware)Proficient with CAD and design of electrical schematics and circuitsProven experience with industrial IoT products, as well as managing the database and cloud infrastructureExperience using ST Micro STM32 HAL/Middleware librariesWorking knowledge with AWS, REST/RPC APIsFamiliar with Python, Perl, Assembly, Java, Shell Scripting, and Systems Programming (Linux/Windows, Networking, POSIX)Acquainted with international power and electrical regulatory requirements (CE, UL, etc.)Good understanding of System Architecture philosophiesAble to follow coding standards and apply best practiceSolid communication and Project Management skillsWilling to travel domestically and internationally if neededFLSA: ExemptEEO: Blue Lynx and its clients are equal opportunity employers.
