Team Lead- Freight Brokerage

We do not want you to be complacent, so we are seeking hard working individuals that want to excel and see themselves grow with a successful company.Qualifications· Preferred 3 years of experience in a freight brokerage or third-party logistics environment· Preferred 3 years of experience in customer service and sales.· Required minimum of 2 years of experience in a management role.· Proven track record bidding and quoting RFP, RFQ, RFI and Awarding Contracts· Proven track record on freight movements; monthly and annual volumes and revenues.· Experience in managing a team of 3 or greater employees.· Knowledgeable in over-the-road trucking (TL and LTL modes)· Knowledgeable in Flatbed, Dry Van, Refrigerated, and Over-Dimensional freight.· Knowledgeable on Load Boards (Truckstop and DAT)· Knowledgeable in TMS and EDI systems· Preferred Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experienceResponsibilities· Supervise and manage team.· A liaison between direct customers· Manage and track team performance and target KPI's.· Broker Freight· Sales· Bid on current and potential business.Skills· Possess leadership skills.· Business acumen· Excellent communication· Project management· Problem solving· Decision-making· Customer service· Performance management· Organization· Interpersonal communication· Time management· Compliance· Collaboration Base Salary starts at $50,000 and goes up depending on experienceThe base pay range displayed on reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for this position. Your individual base pay within this range is determined by work location, which takes into account geographic cost of labor, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
