Summary: Develop and qualify leads to sell prime resin in the manufacturing and compounding space. Will work directly with Distribution Account Executive.Duties and Responsibilities:Lead Generation - Identify and qualify potential customers though cold calling, email outreach, and video calls.Research potential customers and prepare a tailored sales approach.Establish positive relationships with prospects and current customers.Gain an in-depth understanding of the plastic industry and product offerings.Manage a daily pipeline to establish a consistent sales cycle.Shadow account executive daily to observe and learn successful sales techniques and strategies.Work in tandem with Distribution team on lead conversion and join those customer visits, trade shows, and sales trips.Qualifications:Education - Bachelor's Degree in business or marketing.Experience - 2+ years of sales or business-related work.Language Skills - Ability to interact clearly, quickly, professionally and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with supervisor, clients, staff, vendors, etc. Ability to effectively present information to management and sales team. Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in email, CRM data entry, Excel, research, etc.Competencies:Communication - Respond promptly to co-workers and clients, meet commitments/deadlines, and manage difficult or emotional situations.Perseverance - This position requires a hunter mentality, which consists of a competitive spirit while being adaptable, results-oriented, and proactive.Professionalism - Approaches each situation with a respectful attitude and reacts well under pressure.Confidentiality - Maintains all client communications and information confidential.Customer Focus - Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers to gain their trust and respect.Industry Knowledge - Stay up to date with industry information, keep yourself informed.
