$80-85K + Benefits (Health, Dental, Vision, 401K Match, etc)Hybrid - 2 days/ wk in Midtown NY officeLeading Digital Media Performance Agency with global presence seeks ambitious and driven Media Buyer with 3-5+ years hands on Media Buying experience across TV and Video (Linear TV / CTV etc.) with understanding of MediaMath, from either an agency media buying background or in-house media buyer - to take a lead role interacting and negotiating rates with networks, buying, analyzing, tracking, optimizing and reporting on TV media buys across Long Form and Short Form National and Local Linear TV, CTV, Video and syndication. The successful candidate will have experience negotiating rates with networks, fundamental understanding of Media Math (Gross to Net calculation, CPMs etc), tactical media planning, with ability to be client facing and cultivate relationships with media vendors. Can come from either digital agency or inhouse media buying background. Great opportunity to learn new skills, lead and mentor junior buying team and be part of a collaborate, versatile and growing team.Responsibilities include:Plan and negotiate Long Form, Short Form and Mid Form National & Local TV, Network, Cable and Syndication schedules in linear TV and CTVMaximize client budgets through optimizing media schedules based on clients KPIs (eg. budgetary, ratings, impressions, CPO / ratio)Negotiate rates with networks and put together tactical media buying plans. Prepare, send and confirm media schedule orders and revisions with media vendors.Manage schedule clearance and preemption accurately and within budget Lead and mentor junior buying team members (Associate Buyers & Assistant Buyers)Analyze, track, and report campaign results on a daily/weekly basis.RequirementsBachelors degree or equivalent work experience3+ years TV / CTV media buying experience from a digital agency or inhouse media buying role - must have experience with Linear TV and/or CTV Understanding of basic Media Math principles including Gross to Net calculation, CPO (Cost per Order), CPM etc.Familiarity with media research tools such as MRI, Nielsen, SQAD, etc., Experience speaking with and negotiation rates with TV networks.Detail-oriented and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong MS Excel, PowerPoint.Hybrid work schedule, working 2 days/ week in NYC office.
